How can it be that the sketches can be so much more interesting than the finished work of art? Maybe simply a reminder that it's not the goals that are important but the journeys we make?

The art of holding things together.
It seems so easy sometimes. This little life of mine. Just tap the dots and act professional.
Thank you Miranda. Again - you are a life saver.

Afraid to tell you how stupid I am, Lotta.
I recieved a gift in the mail a couple of days ago. A really really beautiful print by Lotta Olsson. I had been planning to take a photo of it today and post it here. I laid it out on the floor and put some candleholders in it's corners so that it would lay flat. I only had three of them so i reached towards the sofatable to get hold of a... a... a... Coffeacup!!! How incredible idiotic and totally mindless was that!! I had to call my husband and shed a little tear over my clumsyness. So, no photo of the much appreciated gift, but an image from Lotta's website once again. Thank you so much Lotta, I seriously love your prints, and I'm sorry that I'm such a clumsy dumbass. I'm still going to frame it, but I think you would prefer me to show an image without stains, so that's what I'll do.

London
Hi friends! I'm back from a wonderful stay in London so here are some pics :) We pretty much stayed away from the central parts of the city, except for a visit to Tate modern and a stroll through Borough market. Probably the best idea ever, since I came to like it a lot more than I did before. We ate a lot of really nice food and had a great time. Having such sweet and generous hosts really helped too! Thank you so much Gero and Cornelia! You are the best!

Hello Sunday evening
I'm back in Copenhagen after a short stay in Malmö over the weekend. It was windy and cold so we spent most of the weekend in our friend's sofa watching episodes of Lost. I also stubled over this beautiful and funny project by artist Anna Gleeson. Giant paper earrings!!

Sasa clock by Thorunn Arnadottir
Beautiful and poetic conceptual design by Thorunn Arnadottir. From the designer's website: "The time is read from the color coded necklace. Each bead represents a 5 minute increment. As the wheel turns, every 5 minutes a bead drops down the cord. Orange beads represent hours, gold and silver beads represent noon and midnight."........"To "stop time", remove the beads and wear them proudly, as a statement that you are in control of your own minutes.

Rosy Nicholas
Rosy Nicholas lives and works in London, as an illustrator and prop maker. I really like the dirty-cute theme in the second print :)

In my mailbox today!
Remember the post I made with the lovely collage by Liesl Pfeffer back in July? Well, this collage is now waiting to be framed and put on my wall! The print was sent to me by Kristina of Up your wall, an internet based gallery where you can buy really nice and affordable prints. The reason I got the print was that Kristina found Liesl through my blog! I love to connect people in real life, that's the best feeling in the world, but I never thought that this blog actually could be a place for that too! Love the print and good luck with Up yor wall, Kristina! Thanks a million!

Un Giro di Sporco Sud
Just came back from a short visit in Malmö. Yesterday we went to the world premiere of this bicycle film by Martin Lang, shot at a bicycle race in Malmö last year arranged by my husband and his bicycleclub. Even though I'm not a bicyclist myself, other than using the bike for everyday transportation, I really enjoyed the film and the beautiful shots of southern Sweden in the spring. Great music too! The clip below is just the teaser so if you want to watch the film you can do it here!

Marika Åkerblom
Marika Åkerblom is a talented scenographer and also the big sister of my very best friend :) Amongst all the projects this super creative woman has worked with I want to show you two. The first two images are from the play "Mentalsköterskan" (The mental nurse) at Uppsala stadsteater and the second project is XX video below where she struggeled quite a bit to find someone who could lend her a monkey (!) I hope to see more from her soon!
