First of all, thanks for returning, despite my lack of postings the last couple of weeks! The new job is fun but as you know, starting a new work can be quite exhausting!
A couple of days ago I found a nice, elips shaped, glass table top in our recycle shed ( I love that shed!!) in the back yard. It had been a part of a hidious mid 90's sofatable (I found the legs too) but the top itself was pretty nice and just the perfect size for a new diningtable. I'm thinking about painting the glass on the downward side and add some nice legs to it.
One of my favourite places to go peeking for designerfurniture (that's right, just looking- totally out of my price range!) is HAY, and the have these really nice trestles I would buy if I could! They are also available as clothesracks and I like that it looks like they're are kind of "walking".
Anyways, IKEA has a pretty nice copy, Vika Lerberg, and I'll probably go for them instead, and find some other way to support Danish design!
