To set Oprah straight

I don't know if you saw the Oprah show in the fall, where she visited Copenhagen and "a typical danish home." (If you haven't seen it look here) Well, let's just say that that house was not very typical for a danish family, there are a few wealthy people who lives like that, but the majority of the Copenhageners have places like this one below. That includes me and my boyfriend, although ours is even smaller! Thank you to the girl who posted this on youtube!

A gift from mom

Got this from my mom! It's a small concrete lamp designed by Tove Adman, and it's called "uppnosig" (cheeky) Love it!

I know I keep going on and on about how much I long for spring but this winter has really been something out of the ordinary. So far 2010 has been a great year for me after managing to get over the bump that was 2009, and now, all I need is some sun and warmth. Kitchen shelf

Cute kitchenshelf from India available at Grønlykke. If it wasn't for the price (1850-2200 dkk) I would buy it now. Somehow it just puts me off when you know that it's probably sold for less than 1/10th of the price in India. Where does all that money go? Not to India, that's for sure.
