London - I want your best tips!

We are going to London for a few days in the middle of february to visit Simon's sister and her fiance! I've been to London a few times but I never really fell in love. I am absolutely sure that this is because I haven't been to the right places! I'm sure our hosts have tons of great tips, but I thought I'd ask you too! So... I'm interested in everything; Museums, restaurants, current exhibitions, shopping, nice areas, cafés, clubs... everything! Fire away!

Playful and ingenious!

I love everything about this concept. The playfulness and the creativity. This is an interior for a boutique made by Italian designcompany Marama.
That lamp is just ingenious, and look at the fading floor!

Sorry for the mess...

Puha! I'm trying to change the layout of the blog. It looks terrible right now, but I wanted to be able to show larger images. I'm trying to fix it :)

Two-thousand-and-heaven!

We bought ourselves a new camera. I've always considered myself a pretty lousy photographer but 2011 (or twothousandheaven, as my best friend calls it) is the year of learning new things. Besides learning to play the ukelele I also hope to become better at taking pictures.

How big is a beaver?

Today I learned that a European beaver can become up to 75 cm long (without the tail) and an American beaver up to 100 cm, also without the tail. I also learned that they serve beaver meat at NOMA.

Hello Sunday evening

I'm back in Copenhagen after a short stay in Malmö over the weekend. It was windy and cold so we spent most of the weekend in our friend's sofa watching episodes of Lost. I also stubled over this beautiful and funny project by artist Anna Gleeson. Giant paper earrings!!

Not a banana.

I remember making a desk organizer in the woodworkshop at school when I was like nine or so. It was supposed to be a banana but it looked more like this.

More Made a Mano

Lotta posted some images from Made a Manos catalouge today. I'm a long time fan of their work and I honestly don't understand why I haven't posted anything about them before. These images are my favourites!
